Astro N5s has announced that 355MW of its ASTRO N n-type TOPCon modules are to be installed at the Walla Walla Solar Farm in New South Wales’ Riverina region.

The Walla Walla farm is expected be completed in 2024 and is forecast to generate an annual 700,000 MWh of electricity, supplying some 90,000 local households while eliminating 520,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The project will also boost the local economy with the creation of up to 250 construction jobs.

The module to be deployed is the 182mm ASTRO N5s bifacial double-glass model, providing power of up to 440W, with an efficiency of up to 22.4% and a high level of performance with only 1% degradation in the first year. The module also carries a 30 year warranty from Ariel RE, giving project owners an additional level of security.

The panels feature a maximum efficiency rating of up to 22.5% which is representative of ratings featured on some of the better solar panels on the Australian market.

Astronergy have followed a trend across many brands in the residential solar panel market by increasing the product warranty to 25-years. The panel also features a 25 performance warranty with a 2% degradation rate in year 1 and 0.55% per year for the following 24 years.

They presently provide salt mist corrosion-resistant panels for installation in any area that are all sold in Australia.

For the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme, Australia’s home solar rebate scheme, the majority of Astronergy solar panels have received approval from the Clean Energy Council

Shipping Policy

Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping to our returns facility. Please note that we do not refund the original shipping charges or provide prepaid return labels unless the return is due to an error on our part.

We are not liable for returns lost in transit and cannot guarantee refunds for such cases.

Once your return is received and inspected, any applicable return shipping fees will be subtracted from your refund. You’ll be notified via email regarding these deductions before the refund is finalized.

For large, heavy, or fragile products, we suggest comparing shipping rates from carriers like UPS, FedEx, and USPS to find the most cost-effective solution. Local retail shipping centers may offer better pricing compared to standard drop boxes. You might also inquire about business shipping discounts or reuse-friendly packaging options.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  • Assessment Process: We will coordinate with the manufacturer to review the reported fault. Additional details or photos may be requested to speed up the evaluation.

  • Licensed Electrician Report (If Applicable): For electrical items, a licensed electrician’s report is often required to confirm the issue and maintain compliance with safety standards.

  • Manufacturer Review: We’ll share the findings with the manufacturer to ensure the proper course of action is taken, whether repair or replacement.

  • Resolution: Upon approval, the manufacturer will either repair the item or send a replacement in line with their warranty terms.

  • Updates: You’ll receive updates on the claim status throughout the process.

Items must be returned in their original packaging, along with proof of purchase, for the manufacturer to authorize pickup. Without the original packaging, the claim may be declined.

Damages caused by misuse, unauthorized repairs, wear-and-tear, or accidental drops may fall outside the scope of warranty coverage. In such cases, any costs related to service or shipping will be communicated for approval before proceeding.

Please note: we do not offer temporary replacement units. For critical-use products, consider having a spare unit available to avoid disruptions.


Returns Policy

You may return items within 30 calendar days of receiving them, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item must be unused and in original condition.

  • The product must remain unopened in its original packaging.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.


Refund Policy
